Attention! It is important to follow a few simple steps before starting your adventure. Firstly, inform yourself well about the route you want to walk and make sure it is suitable for your fitness level. Don't forget to choose your equipment carefully: mountain shoes, clothes suitable for the weather conditions and, of course, don't leave without water, food and a first aid kit.

Respect nature by keeping the trail clean, avoiding leaving litter behind and protecting flora and fauna. The beauty of the landscapes we admire depends on our responsible behaviour.

It is also a good idea to inform someone about your plans and the route you intend to take, for your own safety. And, very importantly, stay on marked trails to avoid unsafe or protected areas.

By following these tips, you will not only have an enjoyable experience in the mountains, but you will also contribute to protecting this natural environment for the future.

Explore the Bran Castle

Situated in an impressive natural setting, Bran Castle is a veritable treasure of Romania, shrouded in myth and history. Known around the world as Dracula's Castle, this medieval fortress attracts visitors eager to explore its corridors and halls, which retain echoes of times long past.

A visit to Bran Castle is a journey back in time, where the architecture and furnishings of the era transport you to a world full of knights and legends. In addition to its historical and architectural value, the castle is surrounded by numerous myths, including those of Vlad Tepes, the historical figure who inspired the character of Dracula. Exploring this monument, you will not only discover stories and legends, but you will also have the opportunity to admire the spectacular mountain scenery that surrounds it.

Visit the Bran National Museum

Within the "Queen Mary" exhibition you will discover pieces from the royal collections at Bran Castle, including decorative art, fine art, books of bibliophilic value, weapons, and many other objects of great historical, artistic, and ethnographic value.
